Benefit Concert for Family Promise

Singers from the Anthem Performing Arts Community will be performing a one night only concert, "Stroll Down Memory Lane," a collection of American standards and songs from Broadway shows. The concert will take place on Friday, May 8 at 7pm at the Community Lutheran Church (3720 E. Tropicana Ave. at Sandhill).

Featured in the concert are singers Chuck Simmons, Carol Joyce, George Gingerelli, Jan George, and Gail Beckman. Admission is $12 and proceeds will go to help support the programs of Family Promise of Las Vegas.

"Stroll Down Memory Lane" is a collection of songs from Broadway shows including Annie Get Your Gun, Guys & Dolls, The Music Man, Anything Goes, Porgy and Bess, West Side Story, Jekyll & Hyde, and more. This concert also includes great American standards originally made popular by Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennet, Elvis Presley, Bobby Darin, Nat King Cole, Bette Midler, Rosemary Clooney, and Barbara Streisand.

Family Promise is a community-wide program that supports homeless families on their journey to a stable future.
