Mission Statement

One day it dawned on us. There's far too much talent and too many big hearts in this dusty little, treasure-filled corner of the world not to talk about it. Sooner or later somebody had to make a play. We figured, it may as well be us.

So... welcome to BROADWAY VEGAS, where we're lifting Vegas musical theatre (and all things positive for theatre people, by theatre people) to their rightful places in the universe.

Our mission is simple: To show you the beautiful philanthropic spirit of this community and provide a steady stream of stories, photos, invitations, and links to anything noteworthy and newsworthy happening in and around the Las Vegas theatre community, all from an insider's perspective.

This is not a gossip column or a place to come read up on the "it" girl du jour, although you may find one or two posts that lean a little more in that direction. Guilty pleasures. We all have them.

More than anything, we're here to quietly but reverently champion the performing arts as a whole and maybe discover or create a small following of fellow performers and theatre lovers along the way. That's pretty much it.

If, in the process, we encourage somebody to start their own blog, donate a pair of tap shoes, or spontaneously belt out a showtune, that's cool, too.

Visit often. Let us know how we're doing. Keep us up on anything that's going on.

By doing any or all of these things, we assure you, you've done a good thing.
