Golden Rainbow's "Ribbon of Life"




This Sunday is the 23rd annual "Ribbon of Life" show where performers from up and down the strip, off the strip, and really all over Vegas come together to raise money for Golden Rainbow. Last year's performance raised more than $300,000!

The event will be held at the Hilton in the Ultimate Manilow theatre at 1:00pm this Sunday, June 28. Tickets range from $50 to $250.

Golden Rainbow provides housing and direct financial assistance to men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS in Southern Nevada. They are also dedicated to supporting HIV/AIDS related  education.

Shoshana Bean is coming to Vegas!


The fabulous Shoshana Bean (of Wicked fame) will take over for Mel B in PEEPSHOW starting June 21! She released her first album, "Superhero," in December and most recently was seen as the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Pittsburgh CLO and in her own show, Shoshana sings Streisand, at the Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood. 

Kelly Monaco will also be leaving the show and Holly Madison (of Playboy and Dancing with the Stars fame) will replace her.

Nevada's oldest community theatre, the Las Vegas Little Theatre, presents Broadway hit The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee next month. 

July 10-26

Six young people in the throes of puberty, overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, learn that winning isn’t everything and that losing doesn’t necessarily make you a loser. Matching the spelling skills of these over-achievers with four audience member "spellers", The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is sure to be a F-U-N evening at the theatre.

Brent Barrett on Broadway



Former Las Vegas Phantom Brent Barrett will return to Broadway this summer for a stint in the long-running musical Chicago. Brent has starred as Billy Flynn several times on Broadway and on the National Tour. His run this summer will be from July 7 to August 9 and his Roxie for that time will be Samantha Harris, co-host of TV's Dancing with the Stars.
